Reflecting on 2020, Welcoming 2021

As 2020, a year unlike any other, comes to a close, we reflect on the challenges we have learned from and the successes we have celebrated. The pandemic unexpectedly limited our ability to travel, attend events, meet people, and kick-off physical school implementations. Teachers, school leadership, parents, and students around the world have been overwhelmed with the ‘new normal’ and having to quickly shift to online learning environments.

Reacting to the pain points

On our journey at New Nordic School to transform current systems of education, equipping teachers, leaders, and other individuals with the right mind- and skillset is important. We reacted to the pain points that arose from the pandemic by creating future-ready online courses on current topics such as hybrid learning, digital wellbeing, and transformational school leadership. These courses have been designed to prepare and empower individuals for current and future changes in education.

It has been inspiring for our team to follow the interesting discussions our online learners have been having on our platform’s forum, and to hear the positive feedback about the courses’ practical applications in the online school environment. As we continue to develop our course catalog, we hope to empower many more individuals around the world who are interested in learning more about the future of education.

New partner school openings

In addition to developing online courses, we have been busy working with our amazing partner schools to kick-off 2021 school implementations. We are excited to welcome new New Nordic School partner schools in France and across India, as well as our flagship bilingual daycare in Helsinki, Finland!

We are feeling grateful for the support we have seen this year, and we look forward to taking the next steps forward in transforming education. We continue to Be bold, Innovate, Collaborate, Empower, and Have Fun! Happy New Year 2021!
